Nelson City Council – Stormwater Pollution Management Planning

SCO have worked with Nelson City Council to design and execute a field sampling plan which has informed our development of a recommended prioritised roadway street sweeping and stormwater sump filter implementation plan. Our work included the design and implementation of an ArcGIS Survey123 app used to execute and document our field sampling of stormwater sump and waterway sediments to confirm contaminant levels and correlate this to variable such as landuse type, roadway traffic volumes, surface types, etc which is now being used to inform a targeted pollution management reduction plan.
